Lieselot Vanhaverbeke

Prof. dr. Lieselot Vanhaverbeke is Associate Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, at the department of Business Technology and Operations (BUTO) and the Electromobility Research Centre. She teaches Operations Research, Decision Analytics and Statistics. Her research into electric and autonomous mobility focuses both on system-level modelling (macro) and on the individual (micro), always with particular attention for the socio-economic aspects. Methodologically the approaches vary from surveys and interviews to optimisation modelling (e.g. location analysis) and simulation techniques (agent-based modelling).
